Wild Beasts - Two Dancers

'Two Dancers' is the second offering from Kendal four piece The Wild Beasts and it is the speedy follow up to 2008 debut effort 'Limbo, Panto'.

Early reviews of the album are very positive, Uncut Magazine have give the album four stars and the BBC have said that the album is "A very modern rock album with an ambitious appeal, yet unafraid to be a bit arty, Two Dancers is the sound of horny young urchins running amok through an insatiable widescreen soup of desire and wonders. Ladies and gentlemen, if you haven't twigged already, Wild Beasts are your new favourite band."

Clash Music have give it 9/10 claiming "it’s an album to champion ‘til all superlatives are spent" and The Times have give it the full 5 star treatment saying that it is "one of 2009’s indisputable masterpieces"

Jewellery Quarter is the second studio album from The Twang and it is the follow up to their 2007 debut effort 'Love It When I Feel Like This' which peaked at number 3 in the UK charts.

Planet Sound have give the album a decent review saying that "one or two songs are still basic - but there's a fervour to their groove that can't be denied" whilst the Independent have give it a less favorable review claiming that it is like "like watching a bulldog attempting the dance of the sugar plum fairy"

'French Kiss in the Chaos' is the second studio album from Reverend and the Makers and it is the follow up to their debut effort 'The State of Things' which was released back in September 2007 and peaked at number 5 in the UK album charts. Tracks 'Professor Pickles' has been made available as a free digital download and 'Silence Is Talking' was the first single to be released.

The album's first single was "Silence Is Talking" released on 20 July 2009. Some of the other songs on the album such as "The End" & "Hidden Persuaders" were debuted live on Oasis' Dig Out Your Soul Tour when the band was supporting them along with Kasabian & The Enemy, most notably at the Wembley Stadium 3 night run. The band will tour the UK in October and November of this year in support of the album.

The album is the follow up to the 175,000 selling 2007 Top 5 album The State of Things (which spawned several hit singles including Heavyweight Champion of the World and He Said He Loved Me ). The album has unquestionable universal appeal and features 10 tracks covering topics such as global warming, Prozac and consumerism, but with a sense of optimism and positivity. Musically the new album embraces 60 s psychedelia alongside a thoroughly modern and vibrant sound. Wall of Sound. 2009.
